Sewing on a button is hard enough, let alone reproducing a beaded Twenties flapper dress for Kate Moss(for Topshop).Founded in 1898, master embroiderers Hand & Lock have worked with couturiers such as Christian Dior, Norman Hartnell and Hardy amies. If you give them a word, sentence or sketch, they will embroiderer it on to almost any surface. They can do it by hand (£12 per letter) or by machine (from £20 for the job).
