Prize Giving 2010
On the evening of the 4th of November The Merchant Taylor Hall London hosted the Hand & Lock Prize giving 2010.
The evening commenced with a drink reception in the enchanting Merchant Taylor Library. The room ‘evoked a powerful sense of history and refinement’ and seemed like the ultimate setting for the evening’s events.
The Fashion show not only contained prize winner’s work but also designer Manjit Deu showed his collection of embellished garments from this year’s collection. The prize winners who travelled from all over the world were awarded their beautiful hand embroidered prizes by Anthea Godfrey and Alastair Macleod in the Courtroom of the Merchant Taylor.
The evening was a true celebration of up and coming talent of embroiderers world wide. Thank you to all who attended and made this evening a success.
