The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative, able to teach all type of students: from beginners to experienced.

Job Title: Website Manager

Hand & Lock, world’s finest provider of embroidery urgently requires a new website manger to manage its websites. We need a good all round person whose primary duties will be to manage all aspects of the following sites:
You will be required to edit pages, write new pages and where required, update pages for Search Engine Optimisation. The main site has just been re-designed using wordpress with CSS. To this end, you must have a good working knowledge of wordpress, dreaweaver and CSS. Although training will be given, you should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of basic html. Javascript knowledge is also desirable
Ecommerce Management
The company has an online shop that the successful candidate will be required to manage. The shop runs on Actinic ecommerce software. Knowledge of Actinic or any 3rd party ecommerce management system experience is required. You will add, remove and edit products from the shop. You will also be expected to take new product images where required and edit them in Photoshop so knowledge of Photoshop or other image editing software is required.
You will also be required to send out web orders to customer whilst ensuring that the web stock is kept up to date.
Email Marketing
The successful candidate will be required to send periodic marking newsletters to previous customers, informing them of special offers.
Company Emails and Branding
The successful candidate will be required to set up new starters with their email addresses and passwords as well as email signatures and other IT related enquiries.
Database Maintenance
Hand and Lock holds a database of over 600 institutions around the world. You required to keep this database updated by making regular contacts to the institutions, establishing relationships with course leaders and encouraging to “book” for the chairman’s yearly embroidery lecture.
