Sir Anthony Bamford assumed his father’s leadership of JCB Company in 1976. He turned it into one of the worlds leading manufacturers of construction equipment in just a few years. Due to his great success in the business world he was knighted in 1990.

Sir Anthony Bamford and his wife sought superior quality clothing and thus the idea of Bamford and Sons was born. The idea was to create the perfect combination of form and function. Clothing that was comfortable yet had a timeless elegance, clothing that provided city and country comfort. Bamford and Sons first store opened in Notting Hill in 2004 and has since expanded to stores in Sloane Square and Wimbledon. Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman, NYC are also stockists of the luxury brand.

At the 2006 Walpole Awards for Excellence, Bamford and Sons were awarded first place in the ‘Best Emerging British Luxury Brand’ category. They have also shown their collection during Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week.

Their products include superior quality clothing, scarves, gloves, boxers, belts, wallets, vintage watches, luggage sets and handcrafted footwear. The latest range is created with respect and concern for the environment, it comprises of 100% organic cotton, ecological leather and hemp as its fabrics.
